Let's try these steps first:

  1. Make sure your bluetooth on your phone is turned on
  2. Fully close and open the app, so it can have a chance to resync
  3. Make sure the scooter is charged
  4. If the scooter is locked, make sure your scooter is turned off while you try to unlock it.
